Launch the game as normal, with Uplay online.
#GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER CRASHING UPDATE#
UPDATE 3: Here's another method to try (this one is working for me now). I'm starting to wonder if this is something to do with being on the same LAN. UPDATE 2: Well, this seemed to be working yesterday, but now when I'm set to offline I don't get the Shift+F2 overlay, and friend can no longer join me (despite receiving the invite & opting to connect) - it gives them error "connection was dropped". So for now, I've set my Uplay to 'always start in offline mode' from the 'Network' section of the settings.ĬLARIFICATION: (obviously?) in order to play together, whoever is set to 'offline' will need to do the inviting. We can still play together, but it hasn't (yet) crashed after a number of attempts with them logging in/out of Uplay & the game. I set Uplay to 'Offline' mode (via the cog/settings icon in the top-right), and then launched the game. I've been having this exact problem, and after trying various things I think I've just found a possible workaround. None of them have worked, but it probably would give the problem more creditibility if more people mentioned it. I've asked the same question in my tickets and I've been told it's our port forwarding, turn off DHCP, shut down the firewall, disable our antivirus. Should I post a ticket? Or is it pointless and should I consider Ubisoft having stolen our money? It wouldn't hurt to start a ticket, but their response is 3-4 days on average, so don't expect an immediate reply. We don't have any sort of problems with any other games. We have diagnosed this by reading through your thread and realizing that we are experiencing the same loss of connection when someone from the same location logs-in. We bought Future Soldier for the sole purpose of playing co-op, and after lugging our computers to a single house to play, it seems that the game won't let us play over the same router. Me and my friends are having trouble as well. I just wanted to chime in and say that you are not a unique case.
